What an ultrasound scan is
An ultrasound scan uses sound waves to make pictures of the inside of the body. It does not use radiation. A gel is put on your skin and a small probe is moved over the area.

Before your scan
- Abdominal scan: you must fast before the scan. Send us a WhatsApp message beforehand and we will tell you how long to fast.
- Bring your IC or passport for registration.
- If another doctor gave you a letter or form, bring it with you.
